Durational hallway video installation exhibited at
New Blood Performance Festival, Chicago, IL.


The piece is the light “leaking/seeping” into a dark passageway. My camera and I move along the worlds, invade and see different sides of it – the conflicting light and shadow of the outside. Now, I invite you also to this transiting world, to turn on and off the shutter, to see and unsee, this time me exposed to you.

Two projections of lights were be projected from two opposite sides of the space, a crossed projection. The projections were mapped to the opposite side of the space, with light flooding into the ceiling, the floor and walls around it. Sound was happening as images appear and disappear. Image and sound affected each other as time passes throughout the duration of the projection. The audience would peak in, walk pass the space or sojourn in-between the projecting lights and shadow. The videos were composed of images that I had captured and collected myself from different parts of the world.
